I was thinking of taking the FR500 plunge. At first I wanted Anthracite but then saw them in person and didnt like them as much. Then I thought I wanted the silver but after this thread Im torn between silver and chrome!

Is the silver the same as the hypercoated?

No. Silver is like Epik's, and mine is hypercoated.

This is hypercoated, and IMHO, the ONLY color to get. They look sooo awesome in the sun, and at night, and pretty much all lighting conditions. I get compliments on them everywhere, and I don't care what you guys say on here...I have only seen one other mustang with FR500s. There are a lot of them on here, but in real life, all you see are bullits, at least around here.

Hypercoated does look good on a dark car for sure. I have only seen 2 Mustangs in person that have FR500s since they came out.

OE wheels black cobra R style with chrome rivets and OEM centercaps..all 17x9 with 275/40/17 Yokohama AVS's. I used to run the staggered black bullitts but that look got old although I like the 10.5 rear and kind of miss it now with all the power I got on tap.

Thanks everyone! There are some beautiful rides on here! Cant wait to have enough money to repaint mine and pull out the little ripple in the drivers front fender so mine can be as nice as all yours.

None of the Roush tips fit "perfectly". Mines is worse because its aftermarket. But those are the right "kind" of tips.

Yeah, he originally got the 9's to keep it well balanced...but then he ended up adding a blower (his car kept up with mine on 10psi at only 9psi...and he has shorty headers and at the time STOCK midpipe).
