Thanks, been playing around with tire pressure and rpm, however as the night went on the track was going away... mostly street radial tires pulling up the rubber and exposing concrete on the pad, had to really look for the good spot to line up, then, not in the groove.
Best was at 16psi and 5500rpm = 1.64, next pass was 15psi and 6000rpm = 1.73, spun hard, track wouldn't hold it, so I backed it off to 5500 and same 15psi and wen 1.66 still spinning harder than I wanted.
Should have better track prep on the 20th... and higher hp cars on slicks/DOT's, so hoping to get down into the 1.5's... will check other cars leaving and if it's holding going to start at 16psi and 6000rpm., work down in psi and up on rpm if it's still holding.
