Let the kids take the Stang to prom last night

Well, my daughter went to her first prom last night with her beaux. I caved and offered to let them take my car. Here's a couple pics.

My daughter also went to prom last night. She's a junior, but it would have NEVER crossed her mind to ask to take the Stang. And if she did, she'd have known better than to let Junior get in the driver's seat. I might trust her. I certainly would NEVER trust some hormone-enraged teenage boy trying to impress his date in hopes of...

Of course, most of the boys at her school know my car, and know of me, so there's not a lot of risk that they'd do anything too stupid.

Teenage boys can never have too much fear or respect, at least when it comes to my little girl.

He's a good kid. Congressional and Presidential nomination to the AF Academy. He's scared to death of me too. First time I gave him the "dad talk", he left the house crying. I don't think he would hurt my car... or my little girl. In other words, if I didn't think I could trust him with the car, he would not be dating my firstborn.
