Post pics if you got white letter tires on your 5.0!

Radial T/As, Firestone Indy 500s, whatever you got...

I bought my '88 5.0 with Radial T/As on it but the white lettering faces the wheel well. I'm thinking about having the white lettering face out when I get them rotated but I wanna see what it'll look like.

Umm.. They don't rotate that way. Unless you are so inclined to have them remounted and balanced.

Well, even if I can't rotate the tires that way, I was just wondering how they looked. I figured I'd get some flak for bringing it up but I'm still curious. I've just never seen them on a fox body... maybe for good reason but I wanna see for myself.

Buncha young punks.

Back in my day, raised white letters, or better yet outline white letters, were the ****!

Yep, back in the day...

What was I saying? Where's the pie?

That vert just looks nasty with those tires.

There was a '01 Bullitt with white letters in a magazine and it looked bad ass. I don't think a fox could pull it off, the styling isn’t right. A fox would have to have 17'' wheels, dark (but not black) paint, and be a really really clean car, then maybe.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

I think about the only way it looks good is on a set of 10 holes, and even that's not the best.

Yeah that vert doesn't look good. I was thinking they might look good with a hard top but only without the silver/gray bumpers/rockers.

When I was in HS, raised white letter tires were what everybody's muscle car rolled on. Hell, I even had a set of them on my '91 2-door Grand Prix. I think Nascar made them uncool . I still think they look good on CERTAIN 4-eyes, just because they can pull off that retro thing better.

Can't claim any of this as mine. Cute looking girl, though. Here is the thread it came from:

Can I have her wash my car?

I agree white letters dont look great on foxes, however it might look good on some four eyed foxes pre-1987 just like the white one in the picture,
