Strictly on 10-holes or turbines, preferably BFG Radial T/A's, and only on a black or white (or black AND white) car. Otherwise ... no.

I'll have to dig up the pics, but I had some white-letter BFG's that came on the 10-holes the PO threw on the prior '89 notch I had back in KC. Didn't look bad, but looked WAY better with the Ponies I later threw on it with black sidewalls...

ill advised

Only white letter tires should read: "MT" "Hoosier" "Goodyear"

Raised white letter on muscle cars kinda fell out of style by 1990. I figure you get a factory photo and see what was there if they sold it black wall then go black if they went white walls or letters then go with them.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

White lettering is just about the queerest thing you can do to a Mustang. It's ghey on trucks, it's ghey on jeeps, it's ghey on muscle cars, and it's gheyest on Mustangs. I really didn't think there was any way to make a GT vert uglier til I saw that one with turbines and white letters.

Old pic of the first notch I had, circa 2001, with the kind of funky side-exit exhaust I was experimenting with at the time. (Dynomax #17676's - actually sounded pretty good behind an off-road H-pipe.)
