If you dont mind me asking how much did that paint job set you back ? From the pictures it looks pretty much flawless .

BTW why did you paint it in the first place? The original paint seemed to be in good condition.

It would have run my between $4000-$5000, but my brother runs the body shop, so all I had to pay for was materials. It wind up costing me about $750.00.

The old paint was perfect, but I couldn't pass up the chance to get some fresh paint at that price.

This is how I bought it a year ago. 1993 lx 65k original miles bone stock.

Not wasting any time, I completely stripped it of all its original contents out of boredom.

All new parts, even the rear axle assembly

Finished. I have since put back on the stock airbox and bought an aluminum driveshaft. Oh and had the windows tinted of course.

Cost of install of all this? Zero dollars. I had zero experience with this and zero help. Actually, you guys helped me out when I was in a bind, but other than that, Im ready to do up another fox. Prolly a Notch

Awesome work there. I would love to be able to toss a lot of money/mods at the car all at once. Must really feel good to have an extra 125hp on tap all of a sudden.

modding your car a couple parts at a time makes it seem like the car never gets any faster... well done though

Couldnt resist the rev under that little bridge huh? I cant either.

Thanks man. No tune yet. After all the work I kinda just put her back in the garage and got lazy with it.

Yeah it takes time and money. Im officially broke now lol. It was worth it though, because like you said, the extra horsepower. Also its amazing how well these motors repsond to just h/c/i rather than going the blower route

Its hard to say but I think the h/c/i kit was like 2200 and I put all new crap on to dress the engine. Prolly like around 3k. I reused the short block because of the low miles (65k) and appeared to be in really good shape. I did however wire wheel the whole thing and coated the hell out of it with engine paint
