Hey there, I'm a pretty big newb when it comes to Roush stuff on the new 05 up Stangs. I really like the front bumper and side skirts and I'm on the fence for the wing.

The one thing I don't care much for is the Roush rear bumper with the additional 2 slots on the bumper line, just too busy. The one I'm talking about is in this pic here...

With that being said while I'm taking a look at Roush's I occasionally see rear bumper's like this one.

A couple questions...

1 - Is this bumper still available?
2 - If I were to get a flowmaster axleback, can I get and install the Roush tips on there so it matches the back? The Roush site seems to imply that I need to use their mufflers but I'm not sure if I'll like the sound.
3 - Anyone have an audio clip of the Roush exhaust on an otherwise stock Mustang?

I would just go for the front end, side skirts and a ducktail of my choice and leave the back end as it is, but I am concerned it would look unbalanced. The rear bumper that only has the squarish exhaust ports (as above) is pretty good, the one with the extra two ports just bugs the heck out of me.

Thoughts or tips on the Roush gear?

I agree; that first bumper is a bit "busy". I'm not sure about the availability of those Rear Bumpers though.
You should be able to put any tips on any A/B Mufflers. You just have to remove the OEM mufflers and cut-off the Tips. Then Weld the Roush Tips onto the Flows. It should be a "piece of cake."

Yeah, a bit busy for sure. Just got the call from my Ford dealer, they are able to get the Vista Blue Stang with my options so I need to figure out what bits I'm going to be ordering, I want to get it all lined up in one package.

those slots in the rear bumper arent part of it, they are just cut into the stock rear, and a lip is attached to teh bottom to give you a "Roush" rear end. so you buy the roush rear and just dont install the holes above the exhuast tips.

One last (hopefully) question...

Will this upper grille fit in the Roush upper grille area?

And it seems to from all the pics I've seen. That I can probably confirm with the dealer. I go in tomorrow to throw down a deposit, give them the list of crap I want so they can work up a deal and pick up the financing documents. Woot! Car is about 4 hours away at a small Ford dealership that thankfully is doing a straight up trade with this dealership for a different coloured GT so they won't be trying to ass gouge me.

no prob, o and as for the grill you posted, it would fit fine but you would have 2 fog lights with no place to put em, just think about it.

Yeah but I'll have the two in the front bumper so I won't loose any, I'll just have a nice ornament for the wall in my garage.

The Roush bumper with the extra cutouts was the early '05 design, and isn't available anymore to my knowledge. I don't like it either.
