Okay this is not a Mustang specific post but it is a 5.0 specific. I have an 86 F150 that I want to turn into my winter vehicle. The non ho 5.0 in it was a poor choice (351W anyone??) and I want to give it more power. A friend of mine has been professionally porting heads now for about 5 years. He's done several sets of heads for me and is pretty good. I was just wondering if anyone has been brave enough to port these heads.

I'm just wondering what these heads are capable of. I know most of you will just tell me to get another set of heads but I'd rather pay my friend to port these. :nice:

They suck, i run them on my car now. Its not worth it to port them ;you are better off with a set of E7s. I guess iam just saying what everybody else is saying to really be honest with you i feel i can hang with any e7headed car out there:shrug:

You can probably pick up a set of bare E7's for so damn cheap, I wouldn't even think about porting the E6's.

seriously dude, they're completely wortheless, IF you're lucky all those hours of porting may bring you close to the power of a stock set of e7 heads....pick up the freeking e7's and port those, then you're talkin!
