What are your opinions on the Ultra-High Performance Summer Tires?

Here are the criteria:
1) Dry performace is priority. Wet performace is not.
2) 180 to 280 Tread Wear performace. 160 if the tire is cheap $.
3) Street Tire, maybe Autocross style, not Drag Tires. Needs to corner adn grip very well.
4) Maybe has some Race proven technology. Like a Street Slick for the road.

I'm thinking something like the Toyo RA-1 or Yokohama A048 as a example of what opinions you may have.

The reason why I'm asking, is that I currently have Toyo T1-S, an awesome Dry & Wet tire, and I mean a Great Tire!! Comparable to Goodyear F1. But I find that when it rains I never seem to drive the stang. So why have a Dry & Wet performace tire. Lets look for the best Dry oriented performace tire.

Thanks

Maybe a Nitto drag radial?? I still drive my car when it rains and want longer tread wear so Ive stayed away from it. Ive had good results from Yokohamas in the past, they were ultra high performance summer tires. Havent put 'em on my current car tho. I probably would if I wasnt using the Mustang as a DD and driving about 40 minutes to work everyday, and spending money on the old 4x4 and trying to keep a 63 Mercury from falling apart.

I would recommend the Nitto 555 (the street version, not the drag tire). The drag tire would suck too much in those rainy Ottawa days lol.

I would also recommend (not from personal experience, but from reviews I have seen) the Goodyear Eagle F1-GS-D3 tires. They seem pretty amazing to me.
