My TKO is proshifted by Liberty. I wouldn't want to drive it everyday that's for sure. It powershifts awesome but like you said, the way it hammers into gear at mid-rpm shifts makes me grit my teeth. The best way I found to drive mine on the street is 1. Don't downshift unless absolutely necessary and if you have to, get it slowed down as much as possibe before you do. 2. If you upshift at a very low rpm you don't get the clunking. I pretty much lug mine around on the street. Shift around 3,000 rpms or less. 3. Double clutching helps if you get onto it. (clutch in, out of gear, clutch out, clutch in, shift). You can still get a mammoth clunk if not executed perfectly. Liberty is getting away from proshifting now. I talked to Craig a couple weeks ago and they are doing a face-tooth engagement system now which gets away from alot of the problems with the Proshifted stuff. The great thing is, he's selling for the about the same price as the Proshifted stuff. No more having to hold the shifter in gear when on the gas.
