Man, I haven't posted here in a while...

Anyway, I still have my stock (yes, that factory paperweight) on my car with over 130K miles.

I need more incentive to change the idea of getting a new midpipe from a "want" to a "need", as I am paying off a bunch of things.

So, how long do these things usually last and how much could it be affecting my performance? Thanks.

It is slowing you down and they are about rotten. Replace it.

It feels like I have tennis balls in my exhaust with the stock h pipe. They should* last the life of the car(a couple hundred thousand miles).

Not that the stock piping goes bad but the cats that are welded in do. Those bad boys clog up and/or breakdown overtime. Time to replace it!

What gets me is you still have your stock midpipe, yet you found a need for these items listed in your sig:

Mach 1 Chin Spoiler
Cobra Headlamps
Diamond Clears
Other Cosmetic Stuff

The midpipe is usually one of the first items to go.

the lights were a gift. the chin spoiler was also a gift if i remember. "other cosmetic stuff" is little free things.

i did have a pypes catted x last year but the cats blew out. since then i moved out, graduated and became fully independent, so mustangs have been off my mind for a little (sadly).

but now that i have money, i'm looking into an slp catted X...

Feh.. just get a Zeibart rubberized undercoating and it'll continue to rob you of several horsepower for thousands more miles.
