Lifter tapping ? New motor

Well i worked out all the problems almost with my new 306.. But on my driverside im hearing a tapping, the guy thats been helping me said it sounds like its a lifter thats not pumping up as he put it. Any opinions on this?

Did you prime the motor? Did you get oil up through the pushrods to every rocker?

the guy that built my motor said he primed it. I sent an email to him so ill hear from him tommarow.
