I would eventually like to LOSE weight via the front seats. Anyone have recommendations? I am ONLY looking for seats that have a weight in the description or that have been weighed. Too many seats out there say "lightweight" and NO WEIGHT specs.

I love my CR1s. Very comfortable, especially on long trips.

Never weighed them but I'd guess they're 10-15lbs lighter than stock.

Only thing I don't like is that the fabric fades fast. I had grey skins that faded bascially purple. I replaced them with black/silver microsuede and the black is starting to brown.

The stock front leather seats weigh 36lb each without the seat tracks. I found a pair of front bucket seats from a 2001 Jeep Cherokee that weigh only 22lb each (28lb total weight saving), have the same dimensions as the stock seats, are very comfortable and have much better lateral support, and will bolt in with only minor modifications to the seat base to accept the Mustang seat tracks. I'm having mine retrimmed in half tan/half black fabric to match the rest of the interior. Should look great. I'll post some pics when they're done.
