Progress Thread Weight loss 90s coupe . -500lbs

A not so wise man once told me you can make numbers look anyway you want .So I have been chasing numbers and pounds and contemplating drivetrain losses .The set standard of drivetrain loss for the foxbody 5 speed mustang is 15% FIFTEEN. PERCENT ouch some say 12%-15% ..So I get deeper down the rabbit hole .I have a lightened flywheel , aluminum driveline , 12lbs lighter wheels and tires than factory in the rear ..The internet says that aluminum driveshaft will drop .5%-1% of that 15% drivetrain loss Because you can trust the Internet.. Anyways I just wonder how low could one average guy get his drivetrain losses down to 12% 10% 8% we will probably never know .But I want to get my ring gear lighted and have these two new ring gears laying around so what do they weigh ?The first image 8.8 / 3.31 ring gear at 10.8 lbs second photo 8.8 / 3.73 ring gear 11.4 ..

Had a opportunity to buy motive gear 3.73 setup ...And of course I have to know what it weighs Motive gear setup 16.6 lbs vs Ford racing 3.73 gear setup 17.6 lbs.... WoW I was surprised at the difference in weight does anyone have a stock ring gear they can weigh OEM foxbody 2.73 would cool to see the OEM weight.
