Hi, my buddy just bought a new 2004 Ford Lighting he has the stock 18" alloys on there. He wants 22"s and offered me his stock for super cheap. Curious if they will fit my 2002 V6 Stang? They are both 5lug. I know on trucks the wheels are often alot wider especially specialty trucks like the lightning. Can anyone help?

Further research on my show this GT Rousch works with the wheels http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2486296558&category=6236 But would the V6? Think there would be scraping?

Why don't you think the tires would fit -- too wide?

In the rear saleen uses 18x10 295 45 tires so the rear is fine in the front 265 40. And I have seen Mustangs with 20" rims lowerd they did not complain about any rubbing. And they did not bend the fenderwell lip back or anything. ?Anybody?

Are they even the same bolt pattern??

Seeing as i've never heard of anyone using Lightning rims, i don't think the offset and bolt pattern will work

I don't think the bolt pattern is even close.
