Would Ford Lightning 42lb. injectors work with Vortech supercharger. I have the head unit and rest of the parts for the S/C but need to buy injectors and pump, found some Lightning 42lb. fuel injectors for $200 and thought it was a deal. I was not sure if these are made specifically for Lightnings.

they will fit. and make sure you step up to at least a lightning maf too. Iam also peicing together a vortech kit. You can also find deals on 03/04 cobra injectors (39lbs) for ass little as $100 and all you will need is some ev1 to ev6 adapters to make them work.

so have I. buying 3 more parts i need tomorrow. Do you have the idler pulleys and radiator extension? reason i ask is because i didnt get them when i bought my supercharger and they will run you 120 from vortech shipped. the thing to keep in mind about injectors is that almost all of them are interchangeable from vehicle to vehicle. hell 03/04 cobra injectors will fit a camaro or vette.

The lightning MAF doesn't have an IAT in it, so you'd have to wire one in. You also need to tune to run one properly I think.

Actually the 75MM MAF is from BBK...I got it with a Trickflow Plenum before buying the supercharger parts. I just was not sure if I can install it on a stock motor (it will be another couple of months before I can afford to install my S/C thats why I want to install it)

I was told not to run my MAF without a tune, that one may be different? BBKs website doesn't say?

NOTE: A 75MM Throttle Body is suggested for pretty heavily modified GT as a stock and mildly modified GT does not flow enough to benefit from the larger Throttle Body.

I just read that on a website. I'm not sure what heavily modified means but my engine is stock other then usual bolt on ons like CAI, LT Headers W O/R H-Pipe, Flowmaster 40s welded, 4.10 Gears, J-Mod, Tranny Cooler and Eibach Pro Kit Suspension/Springs.
