lightning maf calibration

I'm looking to get a 90mm lightning maf for a procharger. Do I need to calibrate the maf for my car? and if it needs calibration, do you have to get a tuner to calibrate it with a chip on a dyno or what? Thanks.

The MAF is used as-is, but you DO need a tune to get it to work right.
