Lightning MAF ?? for Vortech owners

I'll post this here since I got NO response in the power adder forum:

I'm finally getting ready to do this install, but have a question.

If using the stock air inlet tube on the Vortech V2-SQ kit, what will I need to match up the lightning mass air meter (90mm) to the inlet tube? I talked to someone that said the Vortech tube wouldn't be big enough to fit the 90mm mass air meter.

I've got the following combo:

V2-SQ tuner kit, no aftercooler
90mm lightning mass air meter
42 # FRP injectors
SVT Focus fuel pump
SCT tuning software

i just spoke to a tech at MPH and he said the lmaf will fit over the inlet tube on my paxton, he said its hard, but with some prying it can be done, and they do it all the time.

I had to get an adapter for my ProCharger setup. I got the SCT MAF which should be the same size as yours..if your tubing doesn't fit, go to Turbohoses.com and click on transition hoses, they can set you up. I had to get a 4" adapter, and opted for the one that goes to 3 3/4" for the rest of the piping. That way even if it's a little too big, I can just hose clamp it on with no problem. If you can, measure the diamater of your piping as well as the MAF to double check the sizes.
