Lights Inside Heater Control, 79-86

Hey guys, anyone here ever had to replace the light bulbs in the heater control? I removed the dash pad to take a look at the back side, but only saw wires & vacuum tubes. Does it have to be taken apart to replace bulbs? Mine's dark on the left half. Thanks for any tips!

Found some pictures on Ebay of ones that were removed from the dash. Spotted the bulb sockets on the back. Thanks!
