Limp mode, dont know why

My car just went into limp mode and I dont know why. And every time i shift the transmission rattles like crazy when i push the clutch in. My car is also supercharged so that means no dealerships. What could this be? Is it still safe to drive my car?
 
so you have a stock TB. there have been a few failures of them reported. i assume that you have a tuner and can pull the codes, since you are supercharged. pull the codes and post, please.

Thanx for the help, there is only one code and it is P0102. But there has been a change in my situation. I took it to the dealership and they wouldnt even look at the car because its supercharged. And on the way home my car overheated and spilled all of the coolant out onto the road, the temp guage read all the way over to hot and a bunch of steam came out of the hood. I had the car towed to my house and I still have no idea whats wrong with it.
 
P0102 OBD-II Trouble Code
Technical Description: Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Low Input

What does that mean?Basically this means that there is a problem with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or circuit. A more technical description would be that the MAF circuit had lower than expected voltage (air flow).

Symptoms: You will likely not notice any serious drivability problems, although there may be symptoms such as a general decrease in power or sluggishness.

Causes: A code P0102 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

The MAF may be disconnected, or a wiring connection may be bad
The MAF may be dirty or otherwise contaminated (Note: if you use a reusable oiled air filter, be careful not to apply too much oil or that can contaminate the MAF).
The MAF sensor may be faulty
The vehicle computer may be faulty (very rare)
Possible Solutions: The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back. Then start with the cheapest, easiest repair procedures:

Verify that the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring is connected properly and that there are no broken / frayed wires.
Inspect for any air leaks near the MAF sensor.
Take the MAF out and clean it using a spray cleaner such as brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner. Be gentle with the sensor.
Check the voltage of the MAF sensor (refer to a repair manual for vehicle specific information)
Replace the MAF sensor.​

start with this, then look into the overheating issue. they may or may not be related.
 
Who put the supercharger in? Can you get it to them and have them look it over?
Is it just installed or have you had it for awhile? Did they do the tuning also?

I have had the supercharger installed for about 3-4 months now and the shop that installed it does tuning also. I towed the car to them today and they are looking over it to figure out the problem. Thanx Bigcat for the help, I'm going to call the shop and tell them what you told me if they dont already know. Hope it helps.
