You need to know if just the drivers's side axle fit, right?

I spoke to Obsol#te (he's at work). He doen't necessarily want to swap to 5 lug, he just wants to replace the axles w/ something stronger as he blew his DR axle at the track last night, and he found a Mark VII axle(s?) for $200...
Would there be another choice that is a stronger junkyard option?
Thanks

Talked to him and told me ( and i looked on ebay ) its an entire rear axle set-up from a Mark VII. I wasnt sure if the shocks would mount up the same. could need welding. Also the e-brake issue as well. I have 5 lug axles at my house. But then he would need 5 lug Ranger drums. Thats what i would do. But i think he wants smaller gears as well..

Won't work, the Mark 7 axles are 1.25" longer than the stock Fox track.

Sn95 axles are 0.75" longer.

Damn, anyone know anything about the 05 Rears?
Not talking about the whole thing itself, I know a ****load of everything is different.
But how's the axle length and such compare?
I know they come stock with 31 splines and that sounds perfect
