Will the throttle body and MAF meter from a 96 MArk VIII fit a 2003 mustang GT?, this may be a dumb question but I have a friend that is going to sell his Mark VIII and he is willing to put the stock parts back on his car and give me the aftermarket performance parts. I did some research and Ifoundout the Mark VIII has also a 4.6 L 281 engine, thanks in advance.

No. The Lincoln uses a 4.6L DOHC with the Lincoln specific intake an oval shaped throttle body. The Mustang utilizes a 4.6L SOHC with a different intake that utilizes a round throttle body. The MAF meter would work, but would need the correct transfer fuction programmed into your ECU via hand held device or computer chip tune. Besides, your Mustang already utilizes a larger meter and flows as well, if not better than the Lincolns. You're a long way from a need to upgrade the MAF meter anyway.

So basically, nothing from his engine will work with yours.
