lincoln town car tuner question

hey guys. a friend of mine is wantin to get a tuner for his lincoln town car. it has the same pi motor as the mustang except the exhaust is different. he is havin trouble findin a tuner for it. will the sct or diablo for a 99-04 mustang work on his car? its a 2001 lincoln town car... thanks

Have you tried going to the SCT website or even Bullydog? I think you would be able to call them and ask their sales rep...

Anywho good luck!

Chances are no one will make a handheld with canned tunes in it. But an SCT X3 would most likely work just fine with custom tunes for it - I do tunes for Lincolns all the time, just need to PCM code to know for sure if it's available.

thanks a lot. i ll have the pcm code up later today. the casting numbers show its a pi romeo engine but the intake and throttle body is different. and im sure the computer is too...

That looks like the VIN number , the PCM code will be 4 digit code , its usually in bold print on the ECM label , something like MDE2 is a code for 02 mustang GT

Yes it should but I always like to verify the PCM code first
