Now that I got my DR's today  , a D/S loop and a line lock is next on my "to do" list.

For those of you that have line lock,

What brand did you get?
Where did you buy it from? and
Where did you mount the switch for it inside the car?

I saw some one from B&M in a Summitt catalog today for $60.??.

Anyone?

Mustangtuning.com $111 shipped. (After coupon code 'stangnet').

The SLP kit, comes pre bent for 99-04 Mustangs. I didn't install this as there is no way in hell I'm even going to give myself the chance of screwing up my brake lines somehow.

Just one of those things I'd rather have a pro install for me. I guess it took about 2.5 hours, the location apparently could have been better chosen. If there are any specific questions to the install, I could probably grab EJ who is on this forum who did the install for me.

Marysville Speed and Custom.

This is a cool little mod, and I like not having to worry about wearing out my brakes even the slightest. Perhaps I'm just lazy, but if I go bracket racing theres a better chance of me having more consistent burnouts.

Switch is down by the shifter, and is the one included in the kit. It fits almost seamlessly with a dark charcoal interior. It's out of the way enough it'd be hard to accidently flip the switch. Those red aircraft lock switches are way to big and bulky.

Thanks guys.:nice:

 That looks good where you had the switch installed, almost looks like it came from the factory like that(wishful thinking). I'll probabally do the same.

The #1 reason I'm getting a line lock for mine is to not cause anymore un-need wear to the brakes while I'm heating up the M/T Dr's in the water box.

2 other reasons, I've tried the heel toe on the clutch and brake and being 6'2" and having a size 13 shoe, theres not a whole lotta room to be consistent. I've tried it and I'm done doing it. The other reason is, I don't want to look like a knob at the track! :D

If I have any ?'s I'll PM you Tyler59. Thanks again. :nice:
