well the T REX inline fuel pump came with my vortech kit, but now im not sure what good this does me? or if it will even supply my setup with enough fuel? now from what ive gathered, you leave the stock intank pump in place, and add this T REX inline pump to it? im guessing this inline pump only turns on when something signals it too? must like drop below a certain fuel psi.?
its a dss 331 stroker w/ vortech s-trim. im not going to use the FMU or the MSD BTM, and just get 42#'s and tune with my PMS. so i guess what im trying to figure out is. do i need to use this T REX pump or just buy a 255lph and call it good?

When you wire it up, it turns on with the intank pump. You splice into one of the wires on the inertia switch. I wondered the same thing since I had a 255 high pressure intank already but the guys I talked to said to run it with my blower combo. I'd be looking at at least 50's with a supercharged stroker. Get a 255 high pressure intank as well.

thanks for all the info guys! its all starting to make sense now. if i were to go with 50# injectors, which company's sell them? and do they just plug in like ford's 42#ers would? also how much HP are they good too?

I also agree with the above mentioned get a nice intank as well. The injectors should snap right in but i'm not sure if the stock rails will handle this kind of fuel volume??? Also you say its a 331 stroker what heads are you running?? and since its a DSS block #50 will handle up to 550- maybe 600 but I really doubt more. Better to be able to supply more than not enough.

yeah im getting the trickflow fuel rails anyways, so that shouldnt be a problem, and im gonna run trickflow's twisted wedge heads. im shooting for the 500rwhp mark, hopefully!
