A couple of us Saleen Club of America members got together today and took a cruise from north Seattle up to La Conner for lunch at The La Conner Pub. Lousy weather up there, but you take what you can get in the middle of winter.

Oh, I see. The 'saleens' are too good to hang out with the rest of us 'lesser mustangs'....

I was 5 minutes away, too

Well if you guys went through Conway to get to LaConner y'all drove right by my house. But no matter, I was in sunny So-cal anyway.

Btw Dave, I wasnt going to say anything at your new cars debute but sitting next to those other Saleens I just cant help myself. Dont get me wrong it looks great, but I think it needs to come down a bit in front.

The 93 had 17" wheels and the '87 to '91 saleens have 16" wheels. That is factory height.

I was noticing that it sits higher than the two 88's and the 89. I assume that it is due to the progressive rate springs that Saleen was using by that time, rather than the specific rate ones used in the earlier cars.

We came up Old 99, across Milltown Road to Pioneer Hwy, then through Conway on Fir Island Road. Do you live somewhere near the WSP trooper? I noted a silver coupe with later GT wheels on it right in there somewhere.

Actually, even though the rim size is larger overall wheel/tire diameter probably didnt change much. Also a buddy of mine had a Calypso 93 with those same wheels and it didnt sit that high, but I digress.

Dave, my coupe is actually white but with a quick look while driving by on a gloomy day it might look silver , so that was probably me. It does have SN95 wheels on it.
And as far as your car height goes I would understand you not wanting to alter it. It is a rather rare car, I just think it would look .
