My car made over 400 hp to the wheels with a stock t5 and it lasted around 100 HARD passes plus street time. It is pretty resiliant, but eventually it will eat through the synchros...and in my case 2nd gear.

Obviously you have no proof and are just assuming. Listen to squeeze and stroke. It makes me laugh when people freak out about t5s on cars with power. My buddy rio95 has a turbo setup like mine and ran his t5 for a year and a half beating the crap out of it with 525 rwhp before it blew plus making LOTS of passes at the track. I will be just fine with my power level, don't worry.

man that sux to hear about ur car with the intake gasket. lidio is good people, very well known. hell i live in nc and know about alternative auto. we will all need videos of ur car after the tune asap. as far as the t-5 goes. ive seen 500+ hp plenty of time and ive seen them blow out on a mild set up too. it really comes down to how smooth a shifter you are on your car. and clutch etc.
Yeah Lidio seems like a great guy just from talking with him on the phone. And yes, the tranny thing can be hit or miss. Hopefully 400 wont be to stressful. I am not going to run it forever like that but hopefully most of next summer.
