I always thought the BBKs were decent, but now you guys have me questioning that opinion.

What are the differences between JBA and BBK ceramic coated shorties? What makes the JBAs better and worth the extra money?

I don't mind spending it if it's worth it.

Look for the thickness of the tube material and the quality of the welds.

My cheap long tube painted headers went on easy enough,I wrapped them with good header wrap and ss ties. That was 12years ago, still rocks and looks good also keeps under hood temps down.My advise to you cheap wrapped shorties.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

I wrapped my headers, and they rusted out in 4 years. Actually collapsed a primary. I do not recommend wrapping them.

Looks like the JBAs are $555. Pretty salty, but it's not something you buy often so why not do it right. I think I'll go with these when the time comes...

I've had the BBK ceramic shorties for 4 years now and no regrets, fit perfect and still look great.

BBK Equal Lengths here, almost 3 years old, lots of heat cycles. Fit great, no issues during install or during midpipe install, they haven't discolored other then loosing their pretty shine and the welds are damn good.

I appreciate your feedback, thank you. I'm also considering the BBKs as well.
