PLEASE, read this first. I had them on my car. I put them on with the new hood I had, catch that, HAD. They suck more than I can tell you. Sometimes they do not luck completly and if you forget for some bad reason to lock them well you know what can happen. Mine were locked and well we thought they were and the day before our show I pulled out into traffic at 30 mph my hood took flight. I wrote the maker and told them what I thought of the pieces and well I got a response that I should have a safty catch on my car to protect it from taking flight. Well the safety catch was installed and still flight was taken. Others have had this same thing happen and after $3000.00 worth of replacing broken parts it is well worth it to get the normal pin type. If you need the locks then get the pin type and use some small locks that will fit the holes

and use them this way.
You can do what you want, I just do not want anyone to have what has happened to me and others to happen to you. I wish you all the luck in what ever you choose to do.
