Lombard support broke

I don't know if many of you care, but have you had any problems with your lombard (sp?) support system.

I had it set since day one and never really played with it until a few days ago.
My sister got a 2004 BMW 330ci and I was joking with her on how my Cobra has the same creature comforts and when I went to show her my lombard support system it failed to work.

Is it an electric bump with a sort of inflated bladder or is it just a bump under the seat that mechanically rotates?

No idea. Now that you mention it, I wouldn't mind finding out what kind of system the lumbar support uses - that's an interesting question.

It is just a bladder that fills up with air. The switch runs some kind of pump and controls the inflation and deflation. When you deflate it you can hear the air escaping.

Maybe your switch is bad or the connection is bad. I can't see the pump failing, especially if you have rarely used it.

Thanks for the info...when I get a chance I'll take it to the dealership and see what they can do......or maybe not. Things tend to get worse when you take something small like that in. ie...comes back with the whole seat not working.
