promised this on Monday, but had to have other work done to the car and ran out of time for a dyno session. So today, I met with Excepcion13 at Excessive in the morning to see how his ride was coming along and squeeze in a dyno before work.

I have to say, Excepcion’s WB stang with black racing strips and the pony package looked absolutely sweet!!! I can’t wait for him to post his numbers with his manual, truetrac, MMR CAI, 3.73 gears, girdle and panhard relocation bracket. I’m expecting higher numbers than me from him!

I was pleased with the results, and they have fuelled my burning desire to mod my care even more. Here is what I got with my current list of mods:

• Max Power: 193 RWHP
• Max Torque: 207.1
• Dyno Sheet: http://briefcase.yahoo.com/rygenstormlocke

Keep in mind my car is an Auto, but for the mods I have I am actually quite pleased with the run. Another customer had a 96 GT I think, and she swore before the dyno her car would be faster. I just smiled and said, it's just a 6 and we'll see. Everyone there was surprised by the numbers the car put out, even the main mechanic who wasn't that keen on the 4.0 when I first spoke with him. When 193 came up on the screen, she was like no way, then she goes, my car is still faster. And the guy who runs the register/inventory for the shop was like, no…his is a faster car, trust me. Your numbers are not there. Larry was like, that is pretty darn good…and it’s a V6. Ask Excepcion, I was grinning ear to ear.

So next will be a girdle, panhard relocation bracket, and some sort of major power adder. Oh and a SCT w/professional tune.

what was your a/f ratio before the tune, just curious. Just did mine and my A/F was 13.7!!!! i know its not dangerous, but its definately not safe. I did some tweakin to my tune and reloaded it, and now im at 11.9 so im happy. Feels like i may have lost a little power, but im ok with that.

Not sure, and I know I have more power to gain with a proper dyno/tune session. And I also know the pred is not good for autos. So, next wednesday I go back for a SCT and professional tune. I will post more then.

When Chris adjusts your shift points and tweaks her a little, you will definitely see an improvement. He mentioned that it was your AT holding him bakc, becasue when he would let off a little your car would downshift. I expect larger numbers from you in the very near future! And the STD vs. SAE is VERY little difference, so don't obsess over that. Hell, the numbers you saw were adjsuted for sea-level, even, and the numbers you pulled at that precise spot were higher (I know, because we looked at all of them). All in all, your mods are working. Now just get the SCT in there and unleash some more power!

Thanks man! All in all it was a good day! I'm just jazzed that Excessive got you to 205HP. This means I can trust them for my ride and let them take care of the next stage for my car.

Oh, they will get you where you want ot be! I can't wait to go back and dyno with 93 Octane! Chris put the tune in there, so I can reflash at my next fill up. I will probably wait until after exams, though, fill up, reflash, and drive straight there for my new numbers. I am glad that it is winter time and the gas prices have dropped.

They will probably get your HP at or above mine with a proper tune. And I am confident that they will eliminate your TQ problem, also. Now you just have to wait until Wednesday...
