Long tube header and mid pipe questions?

I have a 97 cobra, getting ready to install long tube headers. I have decided on BBK, unless someone strongly opposses. Then I may look into hooker. I was wondering If anyone has any suggestions on what type of catted mid pipe to use. I was thinking about the bbk h pipe, or upr h pipe? Also if anyone has any tips to keep the check light from coming on, I would appreciate it. My friends have had trouble getting the light to stay off.

The CEL can be thrown being the front Oxygen/af sensors are now in a different location. This can throw off the readings. When we installed my LT's the cel came on and JMS retuned my old tune and compensated for that and no CEL.

that makes a lot of sense, but forgive me for being stupid, What is JMS?

JMS is the shop that tuned the vehicle.
