Well i've decided that im gonna get a set of long tubes, but i've run into a problem. I did my own cat-back install, but in a parking spot w/ a spare tire jack and some jack stands. I live in an apartment, and i just simply dont have the resources to do the headers myself. If i get a set of LT's with a O/R h-pipe, aprrox. how many hours are involved with the install for:

A: me in a friends garage w/ some tools
B: a pro installer

In other words, about how much am i looking at to have them installed. I've started to call around, but nobody will give me a staightforward answer. I keep getting "anywhere from $300-$700". So i was wondering if anyone has had them installed, and what they paid for them. Also, I think im leaning more towards the BBK. Any Opinions? Thanks!

I had my longtubes installed at a shop. i searched around and everywhere quoted me 10 hours. They are a pain in the @ss. You have to lift the motor off the motor mounts on the passenger side. You will be using many colorfull metaphors if you do it yourself. There is very little clearance. When i first start my car the passenger side header hits something every morning. It has one good bang in the engine bay and then it's good for the rest of the day. Not to be a downer but you will have fun. Those were the Macs anyways.
