Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and I have a quick question. Wíll I have any issues (besides a whole day job) with installing long tubes on a 2001 convertible gt, cross brace or ground clearance? I heard Mac aren't so great, any recommendations? I was thinking BBK or Hooker.

Hmm.. the cross brace will almost touch the LT after you reinstall back everything. It leaves about 1/10 of an inch gap. I just use the two threaded bolts that came off from the stock H-pipe to the stock cat-back and use it as washers between the brace and the LT. Works like a charm and it will protect your LT also :nice:

I can take some pics if you want me to. no biggie

As for ground clearance.. it's about 1/2 lower than stock pipes. No problem what-so-ever... not until I get new springs anyways.
