Well, after I put in longtubes, I checked everything over and all seemed well. I was wrong. On the driver side header, basically right above the middle of the collector, there is a plug. It is round with 4 wires going into each plug and it connects under the car. The plug is goes by the tranny into the car, and the other side goes into the car by the driver seat it looks like. I have no pictures, but will take some this weekend. Well, something came loose and this plug, still connected rested on the header, melting a portion of it. I do not think it hit any of the wires or screwed the connection up, but I have no idea what it's for so I do not know how to diagnose it. My dad, thought it may be for the cluster of lights in the lower part of the dash. But they work fine. I cannot unplug is since it is melted. But I did manage to zip tie it up out of the way. I would say the plug has an overall diameted slightly bigger than a gold ball, so it is pretty big. Anyone have an idea?
