I dont like the 4-doors. You mite as well get a Liberty.

Besides you can't get the Liberty with all the Rubicon goodies either. I read an article in one of the 4wheeler mags about taking the 4 door Rubi through some crazy offroad test course and they said it was unbelievable how capable it was, even for borderline rock crawling, and the only thing to get screwed up was a dinted bumper from teetering on a rock. I just like the 4 door since i've got a kid, but i'd probably opt for the 2 door anyways.

my dad has a rubicon and i love it. that thing will go anywhere, in any condition and its stock. i dunno how u got 12-13 mpg gruvee because hes gettin around 18.
yup, gas does suck,I've driven about a hundred miles and i'm half empty lol. It was a small rental company and they said as long as I'm on my dad's insurance I can drive it!
I took it on a few trails tonight and man it is fun, four wheel drive is sweet and it does have the 6cyl! The only thing is it started rainging when I had the top down, pulled overand by the time the I got the topup it was done raining lol. Oh well I am getting better at it and hadd all the windows and the top back on, zipped velcroed and all in about 10minutes

That's where you need a bikini top so you can just pull it up over the top to keep you somewhat dry. The coolest thing about Wranglers is the aftermarket pretty much turns them into a vehicle version of a swiss army knife.

Not sure if you mean his dad got it, or if your referring to my post as a daddy type thing to say, but I mean it seriousely. You have to be 24 in CT to rent a car or even drive a car rented by someone old enough. Just don't mess it up if your not the person who is supposed to be driving it.

Hey just a Q but any of you Jeep guys find the multi switch to be very weird and touchy?? Its like it takes a full second for the brights to come on/off and when the brights are on the turn signal is always on and if I click it to signal right it stays even if I click it back into like neutral or w/e... Its really weird, IDK if you can even understand what I am talking about.

The new models might be different....the turn signal on mine doesn't stay on when the brights are on.
Being a rental, it just might be broken.

Before any of your guys start thinking about getting a Heep. I should warn you. They are as slow as a Turtle.......Unless you put a Supercharger or swap a V8 in there.....yep..no BS.
I did all the bolt on's on mines and didnt really notice anything.

lucky bastage, I think im just gonna save all my monies to get an L, trade my 90 vert on it, then ill have the best of both worlds, a notch with a L engine and a L!!

Huh...i smoked a Galant in my Cherokee
Then again mine has 3.55 gears....i don't know about the Wranglers. It's pretty damn peppy for a 4k lb SUV.

HOLY ****!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok so I call my buddy Taylor and he says he wants go mudding. We go to a long ass trail with plenty of huge puddles and hills and ****. We got about 2.5 miles into the trail and I was trying to straddle the ruts, Taylor got through on his 33" mudders, but my GoodYear street tires just made me slip right into the ruts, wher I bottomed out and got stuck. Taylor went to the end of the trail and came back around to see if he could squeeze around me and get through. Well he ended up getting stuck too. He could get out the front but I was there blocking him, but he couldn't get back out going reverse, you'll see in the pics. So we were out there until freakin 8 pm(starting at around 5:30) and another kid brought his come alongs, What do you know? The ****ty alluminum peice breaks and we are no better off. Finally we get another guy with a big ass chevy 1500 on 35s to come and pull me out. I got back out of the trail around 9:05. Here are some pics:
BTW We were all VERY surprised to see how far it actaully got on those tires. and These were not the pics when it was most muddy. I got out of there at 9 and had to be across my town to the mall of GA to pick up my GF who got off at 9. So needless to say on the way out I was haulin ass and ended up COVERING the thing with mud.
