Lookin for a good tune shop in jax fla.

I've searched around a bit on the forums seems everyone is sayin Hp performance in jacksonville. I googled the website seems a little unmainted just curious if the guys are still around and runnin. My car I guess is in need of a tune up 76k on the odomoter and it dislikes these cold starts. I get a pretty annoying ticking noise and slight belt squeak until the car warms up after about 5-10 mins. Browsin around I kinda got 3 ideas on what it could be. Lash adjusters, Tensioner pulley goin bad, or Cracked intake manifold or leaking one. I work 10-12 hour days so I don't get to much joy of doin my own troubleshootin. Kinda hopin its lash adjusters tbh which might open me up enough to upgrade the cams. Anyways if anyone can provide any info on these guys and if theyre still in business would be appreciated. Not sure what the hours are either hopefully they work saturdays. Thanks in advance!

HP Performance is still around but, check out tuners inc aka hurricane performance.. ask for tony G... one of the best tuners around..He'll be the man to see about a tune or a build...

oh, hes kind of pricey but very well worth it especially when it comes to a tune :nice:

Thanks Night shifter thats what I thought did some forum browsin tony split from hp or somethin and now just tunes I guess and the shops are side by side still so either way I think I'll swing in there. Price is no issue just need to get my car runnin right again and hope to upgrade whatevers broke.

Reinhart racing is based in Orange Park. They have been doing mustangs for a long time. It's where I am going to get the cobra tune once it is ready. They charge $88/hr for shop time. Also the only KB authorized dealer in N. Florida.

Be careful with reinhardt 96svtkb. I've had bad past experiences with them with my old supercoupe when it went in there for a tune. Thats why I'm kinda lookin into the shops before I take mine there. Right now all I seem to come up with that I haven't used before is Hurricane performance and stage 6 motorsports. I'm sceptical of hurricane atm browsin around tryin to find some background on the guys. I've heard so much good but then in 2009 I came across a website explaining rip off reports of somesort coming from hurricane. happened 5 or 6 times within that year. But like I say I still kinda wanna try them just cause I've heard and seen so much more good than bad. I know everyshop isnt perfect nor is everyones story coming out of a bad situation. But when I wanna blow money I wanna blow money on stuff that isnt gonna need to be reworked by another shop if ya catch my drift. Thanks for the replies btw though might go to a few car meets locally here and see what I can come up with.
