hey guys my daily driver danger ranger is getting a little long in the tooth and am starting to want something a bit newer with less miles so i figure a used 99+ stang GT with under 80K miles or so would suit me just fine. i'm looking for a 5spd pewter or blue preferably with black interior from 6-8K. i'll be paying off a couple bills while i look so do you guys have any advice on things to look for on a used stang? i'd get a V6 but i want something quick that and fun to drive without needing to do anything to it (i have another project car so modding 2 cars isn't exactly gonna work out so great).

thanks for any info, i hope to find a good car in the next 6 months or so

how is that joining the dark side? I think buying a stang as finally seeing the light. Buy a stocker, modded one were surely beat upon. Do a compression test also.

i was gonna get a civic but my testicles wouldn't allow it.

as for the darkside thing, well, im a ford guy but for the last couple years i've been restoring and building up a 240SX which has become more race car than road car lately and has spend. i've always wanted a GT and now am in the position to get one in the not so distant future. hell, i could do it now i just mostly haven't found the right at the moment.

here's my toy. my sig has more pics.

Even though mustang values suck, it may be hard to find a 99+ car with less than 80 miles that isnt beat to **** for 6-8K.

I've got a 2001 Mustang GT 5 speed with only 2,6xx original miles on it that I was thinking of selling. It's 100% stock and it has never been driven in the winter. The car is brand new.
