I'm at almost 270k right now. If I keep racking up miles as much as I have been over the past couple of years, I'll definitely be over the 300k mark in no time. I just hope the motor is up to lasting for another 150k after its last run-through (was rebuilt around 150k).
While the mechanic mentioned above DOES have a valid point about the seals and such soon slobbering and causing headaches, still ... 35k miles is 35k miles, no matter how you look at it. The CHASSIS, alone, is what should be the main concern - motors are much more easily replaced than the whole friggin' car, y'know?
From a DD standpoint, honestly, I wouldn't consider an ultra-low-mileage Fox for those reasons ... plus the fact that I'd be paranoid as hell that some yahoo without a license/insurance would destroy it on the street, it would be a theft magnet, and/or I'd get raped in an insurance settlement. But as a garage queen/weekend toy ... awwwww, yeah. I'd be all over that. Ummm ... of course, that would be assuming that I had that kind of budget to even consider it...
