I am looking at buying the 1970 casting 429 from a guy. He is including a set of new aftermarket roller rocker arms. He bought these rollers for a 302, didn't use them, and is going to include them wiht the 429 becasue they are supposedly the same for both motors.

Is that right? It to me doesn't seem like a 429 and a 302 would use the same roller rockers?????

No, the rockers for the 302 won't work on the 429.

they wont work. you can use rockers from a 351c, 351m/400, and a big block chevy though.
