my dad has a kenne bell supercharged 85 gt with an 89 mass air motor. we have a mechanic friend who we thought was really good and reliable do headgaskets, and he turned out to be flakey, forgot to do stupid things while reassembling (ex: pcv valve before blower was bolted down...took him 6 hours to get it back on with blower installed and charged us for it, had exhaust leak when headers put back on, acted like we would live with it or fix it ourselves etc..) and now my dad is pissed to say the least. we need a shop that can go through the motor, make sure he didnt mess anything up, and be able to dyno tune it when we swap the pulley from 5-7lbs to 9-11(thats how we blew the headgasket in the first place) and install a tweecer or tuner of some sort. sorry for the rant but im sick of dealing with this, and i want the car running and running right.

We are not going to be tuning until we get our dyno installed. But I can reccomend some great tuners for a pushrod car out here, (S.T. Motorsports)

i am looking for anywhere in cali that will make this motor as close to perfect as possible. my dad is willing to go anywhere that can do this car right, and do it the first time. he is a carpet installer and the kind of guy who wont leave a job until it is done, and done right, and with the customer as happy as possible. thats all he want out of a shop. unfortunately, there arent any shops around here that are capable of that kind of business, considering its not only on efi car, but a supercharged car as well. your guys at s.t. motorsports are pretty legit then? im pretty sure he is willing to go down there to have the car worked on. we will actually be in long beach this weekend, how far is it from there?

I believe ForceFed Performance is still around up in the Sacramento area. I know they've done a lot of cars with blowers and do all there tuning in house. Check them out.

Hmm, about an hour from Long Beach. We can meet here at StangWerks then we can cruise over to Adams place (S.T. Motorsports)
