The Kenwood and Pioneer, and also the JVC has a USB hookup..so I would gather that yes, any MP3 player would work with the Usb. Heck I have tossed MP3's on a USB flash drive to see if the worked and it did.

The Ipod cable (kenwoods) is for the Ipod. When you plug it in, the Ipod actually says "Kenwood Ipod controller active" on it.

You didn't get GPS included for $400 did you?
That would be quite a deal.

No No GPS. I basically got the Ipod, Bluetooth Voice, Remote, Headunit for 450 all said and done.

Also recommended the shop for some work on some honda's for clifford installs. Lol it was like a scene from fast and the furious .... 8 honda's all riced up, rolled into get alarms done

The Pioneer includes in-dash GPS.

Yes it does. But the Pioneer also has massive complaints about boot up times.

i have the avic d3 and love it, the new replacement f series looks really good too

no complaints for the boot up, i cant even believe how the sound quality increased over the stock head

Which? The AVIC-Z2 in my car takes about 15 seconds to boot up.

I've seen some decent deals on eBay for factory Ford radios that have the navigation already. It's cool, because when they turn on, it says Ford in the blue oval and everything looks factory.

Does anyone know if you can plug in the Shaker 500 radio to one of these radios instead of going completely aftermarket?

I have the JVC KW-AVX710 in my Parnelli Jones. Great system. I added the Bluetooth adapter, the Sat radio adapter, & in the process of purchasing the Garmin GVN-53 GPS receiver & having it run thru the head unit for my GPS. You can also add a rear view camera to the head unit if your worried about backing up & hitting something. It has great sound, installation was a breeze, & the DVD playing is pretty darn good. Great system if your interested.
