I need my new CHP crate 347 installed. Its got some pretty good stuff on it. Afr 185, MSD ignition, 30lb injec. etc. My trouble is finding a reputable shop to put in all my new goodies. I got a new fluidine, all new a/c components, oil cooler, motor and tranny mounts, 90mm LMAF. So I went to a couple of shops and one quoted me $80. and another $70. per hour. at 40 to 50 hours. That comes to about $3500 to $4k. One shop I go to that is pretty famous (has been on overhaulin) and known for there detailed work I call. The guy on the phone tells me right off the bat "I know what you are doing man im 38 years old, your calling around looking for the cheapest price" then he proceded to talk down to me. I decided to go there one day just to check it out and nobody says a word to me for 30 minutes so i left. I go back a few weeks later and the owner looks and my parts list and says "all these parts are ****". I go to another place and they seem alright but im just not sure. SO i thought I would come on here and see if someone has had a shop work on their car that did good work at a resonable price. Can yall help a fella out?
