now that my stang is no longer my winter ride (thank god). i am thinking about blowing some more cash on it in the off-season; leaning towards cams. since 4v heads or s/c would be kinda pricey & prob. impossible for me to do myself.

been researching it some, anyone have any experience with comp modular extreme energy street/ hot street or vt stage 2?

with cams & springs should be under a grand. that is all i need i suppose; anyone tried to do this themselves? any good walkthroughs?

also, what kinda gains could be expected from combo mentioned above?

mods thus far are: 4.10s, prochamber, sct chip (timing advance), cat-back, steeda pulleys, accufab plenum, accufab 75mm tb.

also, guess this is just an opinion thing, but, would this be worth the upgrade or would i be better off to go for a 4v head swap?

thanks

i think it was the new 5.0 mag that had a pretty good heads write up in it. i cant remember but the cover car was a sweet yellow saleen. good luck and bump for some cam help im headed that direction myself

since you're gonna be taking everything off for a cam swap, might as well take 16 more bolts off and swap heads in. take one more step forward and remove the heads.

but if you think a headswap is impossible for yourself, you shouldn't do the cams either.
