Looking for ideas why car wont start

**** man. Well i went under the car and marked the balancer more clearly with a little brush and some white paint. I was cranking the car while my dad was twisting the distributor. All of a sudden it fired up. And it ran ok. He was setting trying to get the timing at 10 and then it died again. I went to fire it back up and nothing. No spark again the timing light would not flash.

Changed items include: Distributor, Coil, TFI module.

Anyones thoughts?
