Ok it is that time and I am looking at buyings some new tires. I would like to hear what you guys think on what tire is better, I do like to drag race some times so I want some out of the hole traction I would prefer Nitto I need 295/35/18 for the rear and 255/35/18 for the front. So if you guys know wear I can find them for a good price let me know. The cheapest I have found so far is $222 for the rear and $208 for the front the rear price was for the drag radial and the front was for the extreme2. So any help would be great.

Hey Josh,

The BF Goodrich G-Force Drag Radials work great for street driving and will give you the most grip when drag racing. The Nitto Extreme ZE Radials are awesome for both as well but have a tread wear rating of 200 (I think). I got about 4000 miles driving conseratively on those. Either way, both tires wear out quickly.

I have een fairly pleased with the BF Goodrich G-Force Radials. They don'y stick as well as the other two tires I have mentioned, but I got over 15000 miles on the tires driving pretty hard.

Steeda seems to have pretty good prices for all of the tires I just mentioned.

I think the drag radials are going for around $150 and the others are right around the the same price you have been quoted already.

I was at Discount tire the other day and they quoted me around $ 210 for the Nitto Extreme's.

Hope this helps!

I think the stock tires on my 04 suck, too hard and wear too easily.

Look into the BFG (always looks great too) or the Notto NT555, not a drag radial but good and at a nice price.

Have you considred going to a 305/30 or 315/30 rear tire (on a 10" rim of course)?

Try ebay too. for example: http://cgi.ebay.com/1-315-30-ZR18-M...ryZ66476QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I have a set of the KDW Drag Radial 295-35-18's on my Daytona Coupe. I cut a 1.79 60 foot with them the last time I was a E-town, color me impressed so far. Haven't driven the car much other than an auto-x and they hooked pretty damn good coming out of the corners too.
