looking for switched +12v inside 03 cobra

I am looking for a switched +12v wire under the dash of my 03 cobra coupe. I am hardwiring a radar-detector and need to find this wire. I poked around with a multimeter and found one that was switched (or so I thought) after hooking the wires up I tested it out first. As soon as I switched on the detector ....the windshield washer started spraying !!!what the heck.. wrong wire I guess.
so, my quest is on.

Ultimately I guess I could remove the stereo since I KNOW that one has a wire that is switched. How do you remove the 6cd changer ? I don't see the 4 holes in the front to stick the removal tools in.

alright, I couldn't wait and removed the stereo and used the switched wire to the stereo for the detector. Works great.
I need to pull some more wires to the enginebay, where is the best palce to go thru the firewall ? Any holes I could use to pull more wires thru ?

There's a rubber grommet that you can cut a hole in and run wires through on the drivers side firewall...or at least there is on the 97's there is...
