Hi, I'm looking for the best all season tire under $170 or so. I went to Merchant's and Mr. Tire and both recommended Yokohama AS430 tires. I've never heard of these, and i can't find anywhere on the internet where it tells about them. Anybody know if these are really good or if another tire would be better? Thanks.

Check out the Tire Rack - they sell most
major brands and do a bunch of comparison
testing, plus users write in a rate the tires.
Their Surveys often contain hundreds of
responses.

Right now, depending on the exact
category (there are All Season touring,
All Season Hi Perf, All Season Super Hi
Perf, etc etc), some that are very highly
rated in all categories are one of the two types of Goodrich Traction TA's (the "better" one) and the Firestone Indy 500's, somewhat to my surprise. they rate them on lots of categories, like wet and dry traction, noise, ride, treadwear, handling, etc etc, so it seems they give a pretty good review of them.
