Looking For This Instead Of Console In My 85 GT

As you guys know i am starting on my 85 Mustang GT T-Top Rebuild, well my friend has a 85 Mustang LX and has this setup for shifter. Only thing is he bought it this way and doesnt know what or where it came from. So can someone here tell me where i can find this type of setup (Pic below)

You can prolly make any floor shifted truck and some floor shifted cars stuff work, just look at a few and pick the one you like and then trim it to fit your cars floor. I've seen lots of people use stuff from other vehicles, you just have to trim it to fit the curve of the tranny tunnel, it isn't hard at all to do.

early fox bodies didn't have consoles. It could be out of an '79 or '80 4-banger or a ghia.

well boys that is an original factory part. I can't rememberthe number but I bought one sealed in the ford box many years ago. I purchased it for my 86 GT but unfourtunately it didn't sit right like in the photo so I sold it.............good luck finding one of those

Thanks for the help, i like the orginal console but it is in pieces so i am kinda at a stand still. What could i do?

A console was an option in non GT cars (GT's came with them). My '86 coupe was built without a console. I think I still have those parts laying around somewhere, I put a console in my car. There's also a piece for the e-brake & an ashtray that goes under the radio.

Here ya go, I can't find the ashtray. I probably threw it away when I gutted the interior, it was pretty nasty inside.

There's a crack around the mounting screw, but it could be glued and once the trim piece is on you'd never see it. If your console lid is decent I'd be willing to make a trade.
