Looking to buy a Cervini hood:

I found an ad of a used 2.5" Cervini hood with pins already in it for $160.

My questions are:

How do I know its a real Cervini?
I know it bolts directly on the factory hinges, but how do the pins hold to my car?
How do I take the pins out to paint?

It will have cervini molded into the bottomside of the hood. They are proud of their products and like to have their name front and center.

The pins have the circle base screwed to the hood they should be easy to remove.

The actual pins connect to the upper radiator support, They bolt in.
